Phuket – Thailand’s largest island and home to some of the country’s most beautiful beaches is situated in the Andaman Sea in southern Thailand.
The island’s length from north to south is 48 Km and its width is 21 km. The island is mostly mountainous with rain forest and its most popular beaches are located on the west coast of the island.

Living in Phuket will give you more than 35 different beaches to choose from and the climate is tropical with a yearly average of a warm and comfortable 27 degree’s.
Phuket’s beaches varies in character while some are very quiet and natural and almost empty with tourists and locals, others are more lively and home to fashionable and famous beach clubs such as Catch and Café del mar

Not only does Phuket have some of Thailand’s nicest beaches, you will also find a large number of nearby islands to visit such as Koh Phi Phi and the Similan islands, many of the islands surrounding waters offering world class diving or snorkeling and are incredible beautiful and scenic places to visit.

The infrastructure of the island is good and the roads are of good quality and invites for exploring around the island on either motorbike or car offering many scenic views along the way.
Living in a tropical climate will invite to spending time outdoors and many of the real estate offerings has taken this into account when homes are built with extended large terraces and private or common swimming pools.

You will not find yourself short of activities to do in Phuket as so much is offered. If you can think it, the chances are you will be able to find it.
Phuket is also home to several full service boat marinas. Phuket has 7 full size golf courses for the golfer to enjoy such as the Laguna course and Red Mountain and also great theme parks for the whole family to enjoy such as the newly opened waterpark Bluetree.

The healthcare from the international hospitals are world class and in contrast to many countries in the west, there are no long waiting queues for treatment. Many people from around the world visit Thailand to perform various surgeries due to the much better prices, especially for cosmetic operations.
There are several highly ranked international schools on the island to chose from such as British International School
For shopping there are numerous large shopping malls offering all international brands and outlets but also many local markets for unique handy craft, clothing and artwork. On the restaurant and entertainment side, every kitchen from the world is represented and Thai food can be found on almost every corner in the town areas. For the night clubber, Patong offers endless opportunities for a night out.
