MAI KHAO BEACH
Mai Khao Beach is situated on the northwest coast of Phuket. This 11km-long beach is still largely undeveloped as it is part of the Sirinat National Park. Here one can walk for hours without seeing much development or people, although in recent years, more developers have been looking towards Mai Khao, especially hotel branded condominium developments due to its pristine and natural beauty and proximity to Phuket International Airport.

NAI YANG BEACH
This is the sister beach of Mai Khao Beach and they are actually connected. It’s a beautiful white sandy beach which is shallow and very suitable for children. Cozy small beach restaurants can be found along the shoreline. Nai Thon Beach – Beautiful clear waters and a nice fairly quiet beach. Don’t miss the “hidden” section of the beach which is separated by large rock boulders. The surrounding jungle here as well as the drive to this beach is one of the finest rainforests on Phuket Island. You will find mostly affordable villa developments and super luxury multi million dollar estates here and to date, no Condominium buildings have been built.

LAYAN BEACH
Layan Beach is the name of the northern end of Bangtao Beach on the west coast of Phuket. Unlike the majority of Phuket’s west coast beaches, it is still a very tranquil area, where you can lie and relax under the shade of the tall pine trees bordering the beach. You will find some beach restaurants here as well as Dream Beach Club and for those who enjoy snorkeling and diving, there are great opportunities at Rock Island a 15 min long tail boat ride offshore.

BANGTAO BEACH
This is one of the longest beaches on Phuket Island measuring 6 km and 8 km if one includes the section that is Layan Beach and ideal for lengthy walks on the beach and beautiful sunsets. It is also home to the famous Laguna area which is the largest resort and residential complex on the Island that also has a 18 hole golf course. Bangtao Beach have been increasingly popular for property buyers over the past few years with a wide selection of both villas and resort style condominium units available. It is also home to several beach clubs such as the well renowned Catch Beach Club.

SURIN BEACH
Fine white sand and clear turquoise water has ensured that this picturesque beach is very popular with tourists and Thais alike. Its natural beauty has attracted a number of five star resorts in its immediate surroundings such as Amanpuri, Twin Palms and The Surin. Its calm, clear waters are great for snorkeling and kayaking and during the monsoon season surfing is the most popular water sport and the beach hosts several surfing competitions.

Kamala Beach
Situated conveniently in the center of the west coast, Kamala Beach has risen in popularity over the past few years as a destination with many new developments coming out of the grounds. The beach itself is lovely with restaurants lining the small walkway in front of the beach, its considered to be a fairly quiet and peaceful beach scene here, suitable for families. Kamala offers a good mix of traditional Thai living with luxurious million dollar developments along the famous millionaires mile. Patong Beach
Patong is the most famous beach on Phuket. With its wide variety of activities and nightlife, Patong is an ideal place to party and play. The beach itself is also busy with many water activities such as Jet ski’s and parasailing. By night the town has a bustling nightlife which includes literally hundreds of restaurants, beer bars, and of course night clubs.

Karon Beach
Karon Beach is the third-longest beach on Phuket Island and is one of the most popular holiday destinations on Phuket. The sand is soft and the sea is clear at this beach. Although its’ one of the most popular beaches for holiday makers, its large enough to not get over crowded. The Karon area in itself has a lot of dining options to offer and the Buddhist temple Wat Karon is worth a visit, especially for its vibrant temple market.

Kata Beach
Not far from Karon Beach lies Kata Beach. It is also a very popular west coast beach that rates among the most visited on Phuket with beautiful white sand and turquoise clear waters. Many different kind of water sports are on offer here and just as at Surin Beach, its popular for surfing during the monsoon period. Plenty of restaurants and some nightlife are on offer as well. Rawai Beach
Located at the south end of Phuket, Rawai is not the best swimming beach but offer beautiful views on the many nearby islands in a peaceful local atmosphere. It’s a great place to enjoy fresh seafood and a good starting point to do some island hopping to nearby islands such as coral island. The property here tends to be lower priced then further up the west coast and the villa segment is dominating the supply.

Nai Harn Beach
Ranked at the 3rd place in the 2019 Trip Advisors Travellers choice awards this beautifully situated beach always ranks high for visitors and for a reason. The beach is located within a bay often lined with luxury sailing boats, the waters are clear and the hillsides surrounding it offers for great panoramic photos. There are also the nearby smaller Ya Nui and Ao Sane beaches which are in themselves well worth a visit. The overall atmosphere is laid back and peaceful in this area.
